A Celebration Of Creation - A Look At Sabbath, Part 1
“Remember Yom Shabbat, to keep it holy. You are to work six days, and do all your work, but the seventh day is a Shabbat to Adonai your God. In it you shall not do any work—not you, nor your son, your daughter, your male servant, your female servant, your cattle, nor the outsider that is within your gates. For in six days Adonai made heaven and earth, the ea, and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day. Thus Adonai blessed Yom Shabbat, and made it holy.” ~Exodus 20:8-11 (TLV)
I want to take some time to discuss what is, for some reason, a controversial topic in modern biblical faith: Should we be keeping the Sabbath today? Initially I set out to write a message with a focus on the Sabbath as a time to celebrate the totality of the Creation of our God. I will get to that, but as I was pondering on the concept of this message a former Seventh-Day Adventist and a man raised Jewish submitted a 45-page document to me that was written as a treatise against keeping the Sabbath on the basis of attempting to prove that there was no weekly Sabbath prior to the giving of the manna as recorded in Exodus 16, an event that took place five weeks after the exodus from Egyptian slavery.
So, while I will be presenting the Sabbath as a celebration of Creation, I will also be addressing the major arguments from this document, which is actually a draft for a chapter titled Is the Weekly Sabbath Established in the Genesis Creation Narrative? for a revised 12th edition of the book Lying For God by authors Kerry B. Wynne, William H. Hohman, Elce “Thunder” Lauriston, and Martin H. Klayman (hereafter referred to as ‘the authors’). The entire book, in previous editions I looked up, is over 500 pages and appears to primarily be written against the Seventh-Day Adventist view of keeping the Sabbath, but from reviewing this second chapter of the book it appears that the authors are more interested in trying to prove that they should not keep the Sabbath than in dealing with the errors of Seventh-Day Adventist teaching.

CHAPTER 6: Will Esau Pay the Debt?
As I showed in Chapter 5 (and more extensively in my book, The Struggle for the Birthright), God allowed the Zionists to return to the old land in order to right an ancient wrong. In Gen. 27, Jacob pretended to be Esau in order to trick his blind father, Isaac, into giving him the birthright. So in 1948 this was reversed. This time Esau’s descendants pretended to be “Jacob,” taking advantage of Isaac’s blind descendants. Thus, the Christian West gave the birthright to the Jews, who were representing Esau-Edom, but pretending to be Jacob-Israel.

The Epistles of Paul - Romans Part 13: Jacob and Esau continued
Before continuing with the second part of our presentation of Paul’s discussion of Jacob and Esau in Romans chapter 9, there are a few prophecies which we already presented concerning Esau, or the Edomites, which we should further consider. In our first part of this presentation on Romans 9 we cited parts of Ezekiel chapters 34 and 35 [I had erred, only attributing chapter 34 while quoting from both chapters] in order to understand how it was that the Edomites had come to be fellow-citizens of the Israelites in first century Judaea, both politically and in their religion. In that presentation we also presented much historical evidence from the works of Flavius Josephus which corroborates these prophecies. Now we shall address an even greater prophetic aspect of this prophecy, and that of Malachi chapter 1 which Paul cites in the last verse we had read, Romans 9:13.

Regular public reading of the Torah was introduced by Ezra the Scribe after the return of the Jewish people from their Babylonian captivity (c. 537 BCE), as described in the Book of Nehemiah 8. In the modern era, adherents of Orthodox Judaism practice Torah reading according to a set procedure they believe has remained unchanged in the two thousand years since the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem (70 CE).
“For from ancient generations Mosheh has, in every city, those proclaiming him – being read in the congregations every Sabbath.” (Acts 15:21)

Potential New Moon Sighting
This month (May), we have one Conjunction (Dark Moon). It falls on May 19th.
At sunset on Sunday, May 21, 2023 the Percent of Full illumination is calculated to be at 3% (visible). So, barring any cloud cover, rain, etc., the New Moon should be sighted.
The last New Moon was sighted in Israel was on April 21, 2023. Counting forward 29 days, we come to May 20, 2023. On May 20th we have the first cresent New Moon which has a percent of fullness of 0%. So, this New Moon will not be visible. The first visible cresent New Moon will be on May 21, 2023. A Hebrew month cannot be no less than 29 days and no more than 30 days long. Thus, the first visible New Moon will fall on the 30th day which will be May 21, 2023.

On May 25, 2020, an employee of a convenience store phoned 911 to report an individual who had allegedly purchased cigarettes with a fake twenty-dollar bill. Despite the fact that the Minneapolis Police Department dismissed the officers involved from their employment and filed a series of murder charges against Derek Chauvin, the officer who was most culpable, public outcry was, understandably, immediate and passionate.[ii] The same day, protests against police brutality began to upsurge in major cities across the nation. As political unrest swelled, it collected and propelled the fury. But the rage of the crowd had been stirring for a while before this tragic event. And when the impassioned masses met a justified cause, the population exploded…
PART 14: LIES OF MEN AND GODS—The Perils of Designating Groups ‘Terrorist’
The many issues culminating in the ignition of the 2020 riots and the various interpretations of modern culture make the question of domestic terrorism a cloudy one, especially while events are still playing out. With such unclear parameters outlining the objectives, leadership, and strategy of groups that propagated extremist activities during the riots, officials’ hands are tied where labeling groups as terrorist is concerned. After all, illegal acts carried out during these demonstrations can be pinned on individuals, allowing organizations to distance themselves from responsibility for such tactics.
Along that vein, it’s difficult for authorities to lay the responsibility for one person’s actions on an entire agency. For example, if three men associated with Antifa burn down a church building during a demonstration, everyone associated with Antifa can’t be arrested for planning to burn down their local churches. Nor can we even confirm who is or is not acting on behalf of the agency.
