The law of time is set forth in the law of equal weights and measures—the measures in particular, because time measures the distance between events. One of the most basic tools of measurement is the cubit.

Some years ago, as I was driving and through Montana and praying as I went, I suddenly made the connection in Revelation 11 about prophetic time and linear measurements.

Please consider yesterday’s weblog to be part 19 of this series. I was thinking of doing a similar study today on the laws of capacity, showing how they relate to the 3 main feast days and how they depict our “capacity” to be filled with the Holy Spirit, but the Lord said to do that in our next series on the laws of time.

I realize that there are many laws of time which need to be pulled together into a single book. To my knowledge, no one has ever done such a study. Most people’s revelation of timing (mine included) has been quite incomplete. But the Lord says that I am now ready to do this project. I expect a lot of divine help along the way to fill in the cracks.

Today’s study will supplement Part 18, where we looked at the connection between the fall of Samaria and the construction of Washington D.C., which shows how America, on a national level, is the primary fulfillment of the restoration of the lost House of Israel. We looked at the 12 cycles of 210 years, which is (2,520 years, or “seven times”) from 721 B.C. to 1800 A.D.

Presenting Zechariah chapter 10, we saw in the reference to the House of Judah that there were apparent near vision prophecies, which can seem to have had a partial fulfillment in the 70-weeks Kingdom. But that is only because the remnant in Jerusalem was also a part of the House of Judah. The purpose of the prophecy of Zechariah is still for “all the tribes of Israel” mentioned at the beginning of chapter 9, and most of Judah was taken into captivity by the Assyrians along with the House of Joseph, which is also mentioned along with Judah in that same chapter 10 of Zechariah.

In the words of Zechariah at the beginning of chapter 10, it is clearly evident that the primary focus of the ensuing prophecy is in the far vision, for the “time of the latter rain”. In ancient Israel, the latter rain was the season which preceded the harvest. But prophetically, this is a reference not to a particular time of the year as Zechariah wrote. Rather it must be a reference to the great harvest so frequently spoken of by Yahshua Christ, and also prophesied by Joel, where the children of Israel may expect those remarkable gifts from God which are promised where Yahweh had said that “I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.”

Zechariah did not prophecy the Revelation of Yahshua Christ in the sense of revealing its publication or describing it ahead of time, so in that sense our subtitle is purposely in error. What Zechariah did, however, was provide a prophecy through which Yahweh God provided many things that would later also be provided to the apostle John in the Revelation of Yahshua Christ. So the prophecy of Zechariah supplies many parallels to oracles given in the Revelation, and in that manner it acts as a second witness to the Word of God found in the Revelation.

Through eleven chapters of Zechariah we have illustrated the near visions and the far visions of the prophet, the prophecies which seem to apply to the 70-weeks kingdom, and the prophecies which must transcend the 70-weeks Kingdom, and apply instead to the people of God found in the children of Israel who had long been scattered abroad. However the visions share a common purpose. The very existence of the 70-weeks Kingdom was for the preparation of a place for the coming of the Messiah, and it served as the venue for His coming. This made possible His ultimate reconciliation with the children of Israel scattered abroad, which was the objective of His being. As it says in the 114th Psalm, “Judah was his sanctuary, and Israel his dominion”, and thus it has been.

On Sunday, Dr. Michael Heiser took to Facebook to provide a health update on his battle with pancreatic cancer. Dr. Heiser mentioned that he is in stage 4 or the last stage of aggressive pancreatic cancer as none of the treatments have worked to reverse the status of the tumor.

This aggressive pancreatic cancer has now spread through the stomach and upper GI, which has led to uncontrollable and slow bleeding. Dr. Michael Heiser further shared on the Facebook post that during the latest endoscopy efforts were made to slow down the bleeding by sealing as many bleeding points as possible. This step was taken to slow down the bleeding, however, there is no solution at this point.

Dr. Michael Heiser’s health update also revealed that his lifespan is uncertain with anywhere from days to several weeks to live.

The Satanic Temple is promoting an upcoming convention as the “largest Satanic gathering in history.”

The gathering, called SatanCon, will be taking place in Boston from April 28 – 30th, 2023.

The convention will be celebrating the Satanic Temple’s tenth anniversary.

The Satanic Temple promises on its website that the convention will be “a weekend of blasphemy and remembrance in Boston.”

Though tickets are already on sale, the organization has not announced the location, vendors, or presenters.

Last year’s conference included presentations such as “Devil’s Food” with The Satanic Chef Adam Dodge, Abortion as a (Religious) Right with Mari Davis, and Raising Children in a Satanic Household with Melissa Morley.

The Satanic Temple isn’t just promoting the killing of unborn babies in abortions anymore. It’s actually killing them through a new “religious” abortion practice in New Mexico.

On Wednesday, the satanic group launched a new “religious medical services arm,” TST Health, to begin doing abortions. The Satanic Temple believes aborting unborn babies is a religious “ritual” and compares it to communion or baptism for Christians.

The name of its first “telehealth” abortion practice doubles as a covert death wish to U.S. Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito, who wrote the decision that overturned Roe v. Wade last year.

The Samuel Alito’s Mom’s Satanic Abortion Clinic in New Mexico will offer abortion drugs to women ages 17 and up who are up to 11 weeks of pregnancy, according to Fox News. The FDA does not recommend abortion drugs after 10 weeks.

Large-scale Israeli military operations in Judea and Samaria, commonly known as the West Bank, may become necessary this year following an escalation in Palestinian terrorism in recent days, a former defense official says.

Col. (res.) David Hacham, a senior research associate at the MirYam Institute and a former Arab relations adviser to seven Israeli defense ministers, told JNS that the murderous attacks on Israelis in Jerusalem on Friday and Saturday were conducted “coldly and brutally by young east Jerusalem residents, who were brainwashed by anti-Israeli and anti-Jewish incitement.”

Khair Alkam, the 21-year-old who carried out the massacre of seven civilians outside of a synagogue in the city’s Neve Ya’akov neighborhood on Friday night, was shot and killed by police. Muhammad Aliwat, the 13-year-old who used a handgun to fire on and seriously wound a father and son returning from prayers, was shot and wounded by the son, an Israel Defense Forces paratroop officer who was on leave.

It’s a topic that we have long found fascinating, and have posted about previously (see for example this story from almost 10 years ago: “Our Tiny Slice of Reality“) – how the vast majority of reality is actually hidden from us (‘occult realms’ literally surround us). But as Yong points out in his book, by understanding what other animals perceive we can not only expand our own understanding of some of the sensory information we are missing, but we can also better understand how our own actions are impacting the creatures we share the planet with. And, beyond this understanding of other modes of perception, in the modern world we also now have the ability to augment ourselves with technology that will allow us to ‘expand our reality’. As David Eagleman has pointed out, a particular beauty of our brains is that they are effectively a ‘universal translator’ of signals from the outside world, and will adapt (over time) to new types of input. Our brains learn to assimilate new inputs to the point of us being able to quickly understand them ‘naturally’. So by using technology that can sense things beyond our natural abilities, and translate these signals into modes that we do understand, we can essentially ‘translate’ these other sensory realities into our own umwelt. What might the augmented humans of a thousand years in the future be perceiving as their umwelt? How much more of actual ‘reality’ will be contained within it…

On the evening of Sept. 8, 1206, Walon de Sarton, a minor cleric who had participated in the crusader capture of Constantinople in April 1204, made an astonishing discovery. In an alcove between the main altar and a building “where,” according to his own testimony, “no living creature lived,” a former pleasure palace of emperors, he had hoped to recite his prayers discreetly when his eyes fell upon a window stuffed with straw and other stray matter. Someone clearly had wanted to hide something but had neither the time nor the materials to seal the opening with mortar. In the pillaging of the Byzantine capital, there had been many such attempts to conceal precious secular and religious objects from the avid French and Venetian raiders. Removing the straw, Walon found a vase containing the remains of a finger and an arm, with other objects further in the recess. Reaching beyond the vase, he felt two leather pouches, and, opening them, two large silver plates. In the safety of his room, he looked at the two silver dishes and noticed that each contained fragments of writing in Greek. On one, the inscription, “ΑΓΙΟΣ ΓΕΟΡΓΙΟΣ,” and, on the other, “ΑΓΙΟΣ ΙΟΑΝΝΗΣ ΠΡΟΔΡΟΜΟΣ.” Neither understanding Greek nor wanting to ask anyone for help, for fear of revealing what he had found, Walon wandered from church to church in Constantinople until he came upon images with similar letters. Imagine his surprise at learning that his discovery of the evening of September 8 was none other than the heads of Saint George and of Saint John the Baptist, as indicated by the word “ΠΡΟΔΡΟΜΟΣ,” “Precursor.” John, whose own birth was shrouded in mystery, proclaimed the arrival of Christ whom he baptized in the River Jordan before himself meeting a violent death at the hands of King Herod…

Chatbots are at the front lines of an unrelenting AI invasion. The steady increase of artificial minds in our collective psyche is akin to mass immigration—barely noticed and easily overlooked, until it’s too late. Our cultural landscape is being colonized by bots, and as with illegal aliens, much of our population welcomes this as “progress.” The bots will keep us company. They will learn and absorb our personalities. And when we die, they will become our digital ghosts. It’s a morbid prospect, but the process is already underway…

Once upon a time the United States was known as a “Christian nation”, but now our country is moving away from those roots at a pace that is absolutely breathtaking.  I spend a lot of time writing about the ongoing collapse of our economic system, but the truth is that we are witnessing a collapse of faith as well.  

In 1972, a Pew survey found that 92 percent of all Americans identified as Christians, but the most recent Pew survey that asked this question discovered that only 63 percent of Americans still identify as Christians at this point…

Pew Research Center has been measuring religious identity since 2007 using a slightly different question wording – “What is your present religion, if any?” – as well as a different set of response options. Since 2007, the percentage of adults who say they are atheist, agnostic or “nothing in particular” in the Center’s surveys has grown from 16% to 29%. During this time, the share of U.S. adults who identify as Christian has fallen from 78% to 63%.

Assuming that this trend continues, it won’t be too long before we are under 50 percent.

The prophecies of Ezekiel and Daniel tell us that war is coming against Israel and what nations and people groups will be involved. What is most interesting about this is that the predictions of Ezekiel, made over 2600 years ago, line up very closely with the current alignment of nations that we see emerging today: the Islamic nations which are forming coalitions to “wipe Israel off the face of the earth”, the Northern and Eastern nations that are making efforts to establish a One World, Order, and a small number of nations which tend to be supportive of Israel to a smaller or larger extent.

Rabbi Alon Anava discussed several esoteric sources that relate to the Shiloach Pool. The first source Rabbi Anava brings is Rabbi Yosef Chaim (1832-1909), a Persian Sephardi kabbalist known who had a dream in which he was told that King Hezekiah had blocked the Gihon but opening the spring would usher in the Messiah. Rabbi Anava went on to cite Rabbi Menachem Mendel of Lubavitch (1789-1866), known as the Tzemach Tzedek who was the third leader of the Chabad branch of Hassidut. In his book, Sefer Halikkutim, the Tzemach Tzedek wrote that Adam made teshuva (repentance) while submerged up to his neck in the waters of the Gihon. The Tzemach Tzedek explained that the Gihon was one of the four rivers that flowed out of Eden (Gen. 2:13). He commented another name for a snake (nachash) is gahon which literally means ‘stomach’. This is because a snake crawls on its belly. But the word gihon has an additional letter yud which is the first letter of God’s name. The snake draws holiness from the waters of the Gihon. The snake coming from holiness (i.e. the Gihon River) represents the tikkun (fixing) of the sin of Adam and Even that caused Man to be ejected from Eden. For this reason, the gematria (numerical value) of nachash (snake) is 358, equal to the gematria of Moshiach (Messiah). “The root of Moshiach comes from the snake of the holy realm,” Rabbi Anava explained. “It is the same level of the copper snake,” he wrote, referring to the totem called the Nechushtan that was used to heal the Jews in the desert (Numbers 21:8). “This was a holy entity that had the power to heal and cure the people. Therefore, we can conclude that Messiah is coming from the source of the Gihon,” Rabbi Anava wrote. “If it is widened, then this initiates the redemption…
