Paths of Old – Ancient Paths
Jeremiah 6:16; 18:15; Acts 15:21
“Thus said יהוה (Yahweh), “Stand in the ways and see, and ask for the old paths, where the good way is, and walk in it; and find rest for yourselves….” (Jeremiah 6:16)
“But My people have forgotten Me, they have burned incense to what is false, and they have stumbled from their ways, from the ancient paths, to walk in bypaths and not on a highway.” (Jeremiah 18:15)
Regular public reading of the Torah was introduced by Ezra the Scribe after the return of the Jewish people from their Babylonian captivity (c. 537 BCE), as described in the Book of Nehemiah 8. In the modern era, adherents of Orthodox Judaism practice Torah reading according to a set procedure they believe has remained unchanged in the two thousand years since the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem (70 CE).
“For from ancient generations Mosheh has, in every city, those proclaiming him – being read in the congregations every Sabbath.” (Acts 15:21)

So stunning and accurate are the physical measures of the Great Pyramid that in his book Fingers of the Gods, Graham Hancock remarked,

Are we to believe that simple people during an early age of human history were able to make evolutionary strides in architecture? Of course not! But to acknowledge such a truth begs the question: If they didn’t do it, then who did, and when?

Have you readers ever heard of the ichthys? Maybe not, but you’ve no doubt seen it.
This Greek word for a symbol that looks like a simple drawing of a fish frequently appears on Christian merchandise such as jewelry and bumper stickers. But its background is deeper than most of us realize. Its name is an acronym for “Iesous Christos Theou Yios Soter (‘Jesus Christ, God’s Son, [is] Savior’).”[i] As the Lexham Geographic Commentary on the Gospels explains:
The first letter, iota, is the initial letter in the Greek word for “Jesus”…. The second letter, chi, is the first letter in the word for “Christ”…. The third letter, theta, is the first letter in the Greek word for “God”…. The fourth letter, upsilon, represents the Greek word for “son”…. And the last letter, sigma, is the first letter in the Greek word for “Savior”…. As it does today, the early symbol of the fish could be used to identify a believer in Jesus without the need for verbal communication.[ii]
Why Isaac Newton Predicted The World Would End In 2060
Isaac Newton went about attempting to predict the end of the world, based on his Protestant understanding of the Bible and the events that followed. In one attempt, written on a letter slip next to real math calculations of the non-apocalypse type, Newton apparently made reference to the year 2060:
- 1. The 2300 prophetick days did not commence before the rise of the little horn of the He Goat.
- 2 Those day [sic] did not commence a[f]ter the destruction of Jerusalem & ye Temple by the Romans A.[D.] 70.
- 3 The time times & half a time did not commence before the year 800 in wch the Popes supremacy commenced
- 4 They did not commence after the re[ig]ne of Gregory the 7th. 1084
Boncuklu Tarla: A Megalithic Site Predating Göbekli Tepe
The uncovering of the stunning megalithic architecture of Göbekli Tepe in modern day Türkiye less than three decades ago turned our view of pre-history upside down, with the massive t-shaped pillars of the site pre-dating the pyramids and Stonehenge by some six or seven thousand years. But while it took the spotlight, archaeologists in the area continued finding other, similar sites with impressive architecture and dating back the same mind-boggling stretch in time, some 10,000 years before present. One of the sites that has become well-known recently is Karahan Tepe. But another, lesser-known site that lies further to the east may end up being even more important: Boncuklu Tarla. Discovered during construction work on the Ilısu Dam in 2008, it has undergone excavation over the last 11 years and has already turned up many things of note.
